Retail Leaders Release #ShopSafe Video

Retailers are working hard everyday to deliver the products families need as Americans stay home to slow the spread of the COVID-19 virus.

“We all have a part to play in keeping our communities safe,” said Brian Dodge, RILA president. “We are in this together and together we’ll get through this.”

To encourage safe shopping habits, the Retail Industry Leaders Association (RILA) released the following video highlighting 5 tips to #ShopSafe:

5 Tips to Shop Safe:

  1. Stay 6 feet apart in the store and at checkout – follow the signs in stores to practice social distancing
  2. Don’t hoard
  3. Respect designated hours for seniors & at-risk customers
  4. Consider online orders & curbside pick-up
  5. Remember to say Thank You to Retail Workers #ThankYouRetailWorkers

RILA is the US trade association for leading retailers. We convene decision-makers, advocate for the industry, and promote operational excellence and innovation. Our aim is to elevate a dynamic industry by transforming the environment in which retailers operate.

RILA members include more than 200 retailers, product manufacturers, and service suppliers, which together account for more than $1.5 trillion in annual sales, millions of American jobs, and more than 100,000 stores, manufacturing facilities, and distribution centers domestically and abroad.
